Death Note Cosplay (20 characters.)?

I cosplay as Matt before, but because it's summer (and his suit is too damn hot) I want to cosplay as someone more than Death Note. I was thinking well, Near Light, L. (I cosplay as Mello, but I have the body for it. I would not be able to carry it out.) How cosplay difficult is that any of these characters? I'm short (around 5'2 "or 5'3") and I'm not thin, but I'm not obese either. Should reconsider cosplay as characters because of my body type ... ? Also I have a low tolerance to heat, so my concern is that I'll be too hot. I should mention that I have no idea how to keep white pants white. I have no use of white backgrounds. And I am a woman ... if that's important ... Does anyone have any advice or advice or words of wisdom for me? And honestly tell me what these characters are difficult to "pull out" or how easy?
