What kind of dye? Where can I find it?
Most tie-dye kits come with instructions, but the process generally goes as follows:
1. Soak your shirt in some sort of dye prep (this takes a while- don't think tie-dye is a quick process!)
2. Fold, pleat, or scrunch and then rubber band your item of clothing to achieve the design you desire
3. Either 1) dip the shirt in dye buckets in the order you want the colors or 2) spray the dye on with bottles
4. Wrap in plastic wrap and let sit as long as directed by the dye
5. Wash out in sink or with hose, and then wash in washing machine on hottest setting, and dry on coolest setting
