Why is my male dwarf gourami loosing colour?

I have a male dwarf gourami along with 3 other female tank mates and a plec in a 10 gallon tank. The temp is at a constant 28 degrees and all ph and nitrates and levels are fine. But the male at the fins and tail are loosing colour from the body outwards. I have had him and others for a 2 weeks now and i was hoping to breed them. At first i thought maybe he was scared moving into a new tank and all. But a 2 weeks on he is loosing more of his brilliant colours especially on the bottom fin and his stripes on his body are starting to go too. It's going to a dull white opaque colour. I have been feeding him colour enhancement flakes in the morning and normal flakes in the afternoon. Feeding only what they can consume in 2 minutes. Also i'm feeding frozen bloodworm on sundays just for one meal. None of his other tankmates are losing colour is this a disease or something? If it is can you give details of what it is and so on. Also when i brought him he was bright and colourful.

He's probably stressed out from overcrowding. 4 gourami in a 10 gallon tank with a pleco is way too crowded. I'm not sure what your water changing schedule is, but with that many in there I'd be doing 25% 2x week. He may be starting to get fin rot from stress and poor water quality. If the fins start to erode away he will need to be medicated. Fin rot is contagious, especially to stressed/weakened fish. I'd get a bigger tank or decrease your number of gourami.
