Does anyone else think the US needs to keep out of REAL football/soccer ?

Football is a different culture altogether.
It has just so much to do with pride, patriotism and culture which the US is in dire need of. They better stick to playing ' American football .( bunch of gorillas running around in spandex pantyhose)

They've been recruiting brilliant players from other countries for the past 20 years or so and are now trying to infiltrate FOOTBALL. ( quit calling it soccer will you )

respect the game , quit trying to change its name.

AND thats what i meant by lack of culture . just because you have the money to throw around and recruit good players from OTHER countries doesn't make you any better at the game.

For your information AMERICA is a continent, and in most part of the continent the game is called "FUTBOL" (not a typo, is a spanish word, born from the english word 'Football')

In USA, one country placed NORTH AMERICA, like Canada, the game is called soccer. And probably never will be the soccer called football in USA because that is alrready the name of other sport, the "american football".

Btw, bad called american football, shuld be USA football.
Mexico footbal, Brazil football, Uruguay football, Argentina football, Ecuador football, etc ... all of them are "AMERICAN" and all of them play football with a spheric ball
