Christians, Dark clothing "emo" "punk" rocker stuff skulls!?

OKay I believe that you can listen to rock music and hard core metal and wear what is considered "emo" style clothing or in other words a lot of stuff from hot topic like skinny jeans and have emo hair and still be christian bcuz that doesnt mean you are dark and have alot of hate right??
Idk but My church believes it doesnt matter but are their really religions out there that believe that if you like rock/metal/ and skull type stuff thats not christian like??

look at how much death and violence is in a lot of CHRISTIAN art....like, theres a lot. go to any art museum and you can see the violence in religous related art. i dont get why they have issues with a style of clothes when their own art has a lot of blood and guts and gore in it.

and the person somewhere above me said it best, about believing in christ being the most important part of that particular religion.

and furthermore, like the first answerer said, theres a lot of religous emo type music, and if the people who are questioning the fact you can be emo and christian actually listend to the lyrics they wouldnt be questioning you.

the long and short of it is, yeah, sadly there are religions and chuches out there who WOULD question it. sad fact of life but eh, what can you do really? hurray for you haveing a church that is reletively cool with it
