What mineral makeup should I choose (Sydney, Australia)?

With so many choices out there like L'oreal, Sheer Cover, etc and I can't choose one. Plus some are quite inexpensive (like Revlon) and very expensive ones (like $100+). I'd like to know what you have tried, how much it was, where you bought it and if you liked it and why.

I'd really like to get answers that are relevant for where I live, if possible!!!

I use the NYC brand name stuff, works great and is oil free. It was like 10$ and it's lasted for months, got it at CVS.
