TearDrop Diamond drops fall and break, but the pieces do not always cut times soothe and calm the tumult of my heart My eyes struggle to emulate the drop in humidity with a flood break their own lift my head and my tears mingle seamlessly with The fall out of the rain and sadness and joy always humming pain This is the day when they grow wings, but soaking fly Because I'm not on earth, I find all my peace at all A more simple sparrow

In a small jewel of an otherwise perfect poem, I saw a single defect. The word "emulate" sounded like scum to me. This and other word caught my attention. However, "soaking" is emphasized by the novel way in which it becomes a noun. Strengthened the idea that "mimic" did the opposite. [This has absolutely nothing to do with what I have said before, is just another product of my twisted mind: "If the ostrich could get here on time, why is the emu late?"]
