how to fix an elastic shoelace?
I have a pair of hiking shoes (merrell) theyre pretty great but today I broke a lace. The laces are a one piece elastic type. Well it had a seam in it that was covered in one of the eyelets and it brok. does anyone know how to join them together again correctly. And stronger than before. I think it involves heating the ends or something.
On that reply I would get a new one but I have no clue where to get an elastic shoe lace and even if I found one that would leave me in the same place I am in now. The lace is one piece with no ends. its attached where the ends would be to form a loop so you just have to pull them at the top to tighten them and slide the little lock in place to hold it secure
Dude, I respect your desire to not be wasteful, but just get a new lace.
