What is a good replacement for my dwarf gourami powder blue?

My powder blue recently died of dropsy: (I like gouramis, but any size of the larger fish that do well in a 10 gallon with 6 green fire tetras, a pair of otto cats, and some ghost shrimp would be good. Just the time it can hold only one instead of having a school. Any recommendations?
