Two toenails on my right foot are opaque-white and blotchy.?

The blotchy stuff is weak enough to scrape off, and the edges have a yellowish tint. i thought it might have just smashed it and that was why it was opaque, however its been this way for three months and the new nail coming out of the cuticle has the same problem. What is it and how do i make it go away? thanks

He has moved into your two toes---it's nail fungus--- sorry, I'm a little crazy at this hour and that commercial popped in my head when I read your question- you may get away with an over the counter liquid to put on the nails if it doesnt work however, you will be either destined to have the fungus forever or shell out mucho denero for the medicine you have to take for a couple months orally- and by the way, it also is hard on your liver----ps. my husband has what I call them, funky, junky nails for over 10 years--- his doctor does not recommend the medicine because of the side affects to the liver......................good luck to you..........and your nails.......
