Work experience - Help!?

Tomorrow I have my work experience induction at a solicitor's firm. It's supposed to be a chance to familiarise ourselves with the working environment before the actual work experience, which is in July, but I'm a bit unsure what to expect, so can anyone tell me what might be involved and what I can do to prepare? Also, could you tell me if this sounds appropriate: I'm planning to wear a charcoal-grey pencil skirt which hits just above the knee with black opaque tights, black ballet flats, a blue striped oxford shirt and a grey cropped cable-knit cardigan. Advice please?

Your outfit sounds fine, the induction will give you the chance to see what everyone else is wearing too.

I've never heard of such a thing before, they will probably spend ages talking about the company and the different roles and have you sit in on meetings. Be sure to bring a note pad.
