Did a black hole allow a tennis ball to pass through a net in a tennis match in 1970s?

I have heard speculation that this happened and proves that micro-black holes can pop in and out of existence at anytime. Possibly Wimbledon in 1976.

Before you accept this hypothesis, you should explore more likely explanations, such as a well-hit ball finding a loose spot in the mesh.

The best evidence for mini black holes is actually the number of socks that go missing in the laundry. It is speculated that the spinning motion of the dryer, perhaps in combination with static electricity generated by the tumbling sock, somehow causes the black hole to tunnel into your dryer.
