Does skin coloured stockings/tights/hosiery help in hiding scars?

When I was young, I was very clumsy. I use to trip a lot, and now I have these very ugly and nasty scars. Summer is coming, and I was wondering if there was any way of covering/hiding them.
I did, however, find out that skin coloured stockings/tights/hosiery (or whatever you call them) can help in covering them up.

Is this true?
Does it cover up the scars and make your legs look like a natural colour, or does it just make your legs look a very fake colour?

Oh yes. Hoisery helps with everything. They hide Viens, scars, unshaven leg hairs, cellulite, bad knees and bruises. This is a great fashion that for some reason faded. so yes do wear them You won't be the only one to wear them.
