How would thigh high/over the knee socks look on short girls?

Im wondering if i could pull off the look of wearing thigh high socks with like a short skirt or tunic. but im short will the socks look flattering or make me look even shorter ?

It not only depends on your height, but how thin or large you are also. I find that taller, slightly bigger girls can still pull this look off, whereas if you are shorter *and* slightly bigger, over the knee socks will cut you off in an unflattering place, making it look as though you have no more leg, and therefore adding to your size and taking away from your height. However, if you are more petite, I think an over the knee/thigh high sock could look quite nice on you.

Don’t listen to people who say “You’ll look like a slut.” It all depends on the other fashion components you’ll be pairing with the outfit. My verdict, in the end, would be to wear the socks if you’re of a slimmer proportion. However, if you’re shorter and bit larger, then I would advise against it. Good luck and hope that helps.
