I had someone tell me that sheer nail polishes are in these days, in addition to matte?

I was shopping at Ulta and kept trying to find some heavily pigmented polishes. Many of the peachy pinks or pearly white shades were sheer. A gal there said that sheer has been in lately. I asked about the matte and she said that is in too but high maintenance.

What do you know?

Eeek, I don't personally like sheers. I think right now, opaque pastel cremes are in especially for spring, and even brights! (as usual). Chromes were in for awhile there too. Mattes are mostly last fall. Mattes are high maintenance mostly because you cannot use hand lotion what-so-ever or it'll shine up the matte finish. The big thing right now I think will be Jade/Turquoise colors. Mostly opaque cremes, and probably neons for summer. But with nail polish, I think anything goes, lol. I'll post some links below.
