Can I wear footless tights with a black skirt and converse?

I don't usually wear skirts at all. But got a cute black denim one and I wanna wear it to see a boy i really like. I can't wear it without tights, because i have really horrible legs, so I was thinking about black and white stripey footless tights. And my converse are red and white. It'll be a black grey and white band tee-shirt.

I don't really care much about what people think of what I wear, but give me your opinion on this one. Am I on the right track (I have no fashion sense, I just wear what I feel like) or is this a huuuuge no no?

What shoes would make it better?

definitly do not where STRIPED tights... you could where white solid tights and that would be cute.... don't where the red and white converse you could wear black converse...but if you don't have those you could wear flats that would be cute... hmmm..... the shirt is....okay, you could try wearing a tank top in like a nice white or maybe light pink color.... and if you have ur ears pierced you could wear stud earings. You sorta are and sorta not on the right track.
