Specialised Toe Jacks To Access Different Types Of Lifting Schemes

Toe jacks are used in lifting application to move heavy machinery from one place to another. A toe jack has the ability to lift heavy loads and give away enough floor clearance for other objects to pass. It can provide a floor clearance as small as 15mm. The toe jacks have a modifiable toe position which is also manufactured from steel to increase it's reliability factor. A toe jack can raise much heavier objects too, ranging from 3 tonnes to large tonne capacities.

Toe jacks are specialised to access different types of lifting schemes. The first one is a hydraulic toe jack, which is based on automatic system. The other one is manually controlled toe jack. High capacity toe jacks are equipped with thin toes are the most demanded nowadays as they make grabbing much easier than before. The toes of the toe jacks can be lowered and elevated at the same time using a specific level control. This enhanced feature of a toe jack is important especially in conditions which need preciseness and accuracy. To permit clearance in much smaller places, the jacks are also sometimes equipped with adjustable feet.

Toe jacks can work both the ways, either alone or in coordination with other toe jacks.  Various toe jacks are connected to create a pipelining "toe jacks" through a remote pump. The main usage of hydraulic toe jacks is to give small lifts so that enough space is created to allow clearance of other moving items. However when different toe jacks are pipelined they can have parallel movements.  Multiple toe jacks can move at the same rate of speed and at the same time when controlling them manually. The toe jacks can also be equipped with standard grip free hosing to provide user safety. Pipelined toe jacks can also have an option of doing harmonised work with the aid of an external pump which can control all the "toe jacks" alone through the coupling technique.

The usage and the type of load to be lifted are based upon the choice of the toe jack used. A Ratchet toe jack is used when one wants to lift lighter masses up to 5-15 tonnes. This toe jack is manually controlled which is usually placed in an upright position but the height can vary through the adjustable knob. It is also light weight when compared to the other kinds of toe jacks. If the mass exceeds 15 tonnes then a bottleneck toe jack is the ideal choice. However heavier masses are lifted through a compact toe jack.

Nevertheless, all the types of toe jacks are not portable, the ratchet toe jack is the ideal choice for portable conditions since it weighs about 30 lbs thus making this toe jack easier to handle. The dual lever sockets installed in Ratchet toe jack make it available for use in places where there is limited space.
