What is the name for the fold out cards that photographers place under the necks of models?
They are mostly used backstage at fashion shows, some are silver some white.

Those are called "bounce cards", "reflectors", or (in the case of the white ones) "matte reflectors".
They are used to provide "fill light" to even out face shadows, or to spread out the strobe-flash beam.
