Skinny leg pants, and Uggs?

I really want a pair of Uggs. I''m not sure what kind to get. These are all the boots I like, can you help me pick? http://www.polyvore.com/uggs/set?id=4025855
And also, for the tall boots, and the crochet boots, am I supposed to wear skinny jeans? My thighs are (personal opinion) thick, and I think they're fat, but people say they're normal. I'm kinda self conscious of my thighs, because my legs are wider at the top, and go down to these little twigs at the ankles. Because they are so "tapered" a lot of people say I can't wear skinny jeans, so does that mean I can't buy tall boots to wear?
So objectives of this question...
1) What boots should I get?
- I would only be wearing jeans, and maybe a skirt or two with them, all really casual.
2) Skinny leg pants with them?
- Yes or no
3) So if my thighs really are messed up, and I really want the skinny jeans and boots, what are some good simple exercises to "shrink" or firm them up?
