Got a new black Wii w/ motion plus remote and cannot sync an original white remote to it. why?
So I just got a new black wii for christmas and it came with the motion plus remote. I had a friend come over to play some games and he brought one of the original white wii remotes with him and we couldn't get it to sync at all with my console. Tried taking the batteries out of the remote and unplugging my wii. Is it because I need only motion plus remotes now???
lol. take the back off the remote you are attempting to sync, open the the thing you can open an close on the front of the wii under the power button. there should be a red button. Now theres a red button on the wii remote where the batteries are, push this and the red button under power at the same time. they should sync together and you can play now.
