Why are some black people afraid of big black dogs?

I know a lot of black people who are scared to death of big black dogs and I can't figure out why.

I have two big dogs (one black and one white) and I had papa johns and chinese food delivered. They stay outside, F.Y.I. And my WHITE dog was gaurding the guys truck door. He called our house phone to get him. And when I did, out stepped a WHITE guy from the big truck.
Then the chinese came, he called us too! He was chinese, go figure, and scared.
It isn't just black people, sweet heart.
